Gherman Titov is certainly the first man in outer space, but you will never see his name in the history books because his flight was doomed to fail and he was sacrificed for his country. Thoughts on his Russian hometown, the free West, the liberation of Berlin and the love for his pregnant wife are written in ink. A farewell letter full of love and the revelation of a great secret to his unborn child.


In 1957 the Russians start the space race by launching Sputnik. A satellite of less than 30 pounds. On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space. However, there are strong indications that there were other cosmonauts send in space before Gagarin. Unfortunately, they not survived. This is the fictional story of the first cosmonaut in space.
